- Setting off to Gili Sulat and Lawang
Setting off really early, we decided to take a two day tour to the North-Eastern side of the island. This region was also the epicenter of the earthquake last July/August and the devastation was still blatantly visible everywhere. Despite the rubble and the building activity, people remained optimistic and wherever we visited a sincere plea was done, to make sure that we would spread the word and promote this exquisite snorkeling and diving area… We are sure to return, because we never seen the likes in terms of quality of corals, fishes and maritime life elsewhere on Lombok!
If you want to take some private/or small group diving lessons, you should visit the East Lombok Dive Hotel, it is a prime location and the small Hotel will certainly appeal to the young and adventurous!
