“The Aston Inn, Mataram, hosts swimming lessons for children from this Playgroup, Kindergarten Academy and this first meeting between the owner\/principal took place in October 2018, when I visited Lombok to investigate about the damages of the earthquakes.<\/span><\/p>\n

By origin an American citizen, married to a lady from Ampenan, it was obvious that he was committed to teach children, born and raised – surrounded by the oceans – to emphasise the importance of acquiring swimming skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

We met up again last Thursday and were kindly invited to visit their location in Cakranegara (Mataram), and were shown a dedication from teaching discipline, respect and independence.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is good to know that we are not the only group of people who are concerned about the well-fare of the very young, and share our expertise with those groups that hold the same ideas we are trying to promote in terms of health and safety aspects.<\/p>\n
